RiverStar Web Solutions Inc. is a Vancouver-based web/desktop application solution provider helping small businesses to establish their web presence. The company's services range from building simple brochure-like website; connecting to PayPal, eBay; to setting up online store, integrating website with Content Management System and make corporate/product data available online in real-time. In response to market demands, Riverstar, through its strategic alliances, offers writing service, print/exhibit design and production.
RiverStar's Management Team has been in in business since 1999, helping numerous companies to establish their online presence as well as moving their business process online.
The Team
Sunny Chow is the founder and Operations Manager of RiverStar Web Solutions Inc.. Sunny started his Internet-related career when he joined Cable & Wireless HKT Canada, later known as Pacific Century Cyberworks (PCCW), during the year 1999. He worked as Web Editor in PCCW's portal team and helped launched the bilingual North America version of Netvigator, the No. 1 portal in Hong Kong. He worked as a freelance developer on several web development projects after he left PCCW and was soon recruited by Global Internet Software as the Operations Manager in charge of web development and desktop/web integration projects.
His current focus is on small business application development, including importing online sales data into Quickbooks and MYOB; integrating content management system with website and mobile barcode data-collection application development.
RiverStar offers one stop solution service to help small businesses in the use of website, application development and integration. Available services include web design, desktop/web application development and integration, multimedia presentation material production, search engine optimization and Internet marketing.
Frank Long is Senior Programmer of RiverStar Web Solutions Inc.. Frank is an experienced programmer worked together with Sunny since 2004. A specialist in .Net and Java technology, Frank has extensive experience in migrating VB applications to VB.NET, integration of Microsoft's MapPoint Web Service and third party components, VBA, ASP.NET web applications and database conversion from Access to SQL Server. Currently Frank works on contract-based with the company and is responsible for solution and application design, as well as programming for the company.
